Safia Ali International began in Karachi, Pakistan in early 2000, born of a simple observation: the market of that time offered plenty of fabric and very little imagination. Safia set out to create what she could not find.

Every Safia Ali outfit is made to order in Karachi by artisans who have spent decades mastering their craft. Zardozi worked in silver and gold. Resham blossoms threaded petal by petal. Kaamdani that catches the light the way it did in Mughal courts. We do not keep racks of stock; we make your outfit for you, which takes weeks, and we believe the result is worth every day of the wait.
